FOREST CITY GALLERY TURNS 45
Forest City Gallery's highly anticipated fundraiser arrived in spectacular style on a balmy spring evening. Celebrating 45 years since their initial opening in 1973, FCG was one of Canada’s first ever artist-run galleries. It was a revelling night of disco, drag queens, and dumplings. Illuminated by disco ball, The Ballroom of the Horton Street Goodwill Center was transformed into a fully immersive experience with numerous interactive activities. The neon lights and polyester jumpsuits ripped through the dance floor – like glitter that just won’t come off! Our favorite DJ’s from Empyrean Productions kept things groovy, the fabulous Nico Lavender and Myss Taiken brought their contagious energy and the So Inviting dumplings proved to be the perfect fuel for the dancing. Forest City Gallery’s joyous flashback celebration highlighted the magic and charm this city holds, cementing it as a unforgettable event.
